Hi I'm Greg
I was born and raised in Texas, I am a pianist and a clarinetist, and I'm a Mormon.
About Me
Though I lived in Texas for most of my life, I hope someday to travel and see more of the world. I attended college in Utah for a year, but I will soon be leaving to serve a mission in South Africa. I have an unquenchable passion for music. I am studying piano performance in college but I also love to sing and play the clarinet.
Why I am a Mormon
I was raised in the LDS Church, so I have been fortunate to know the truth my whole life. Though I have had moments of doubt in the past, every time I pray for peace I feel the warmth of the Holy Spirit who confirms my resolve to remain obedient. I love the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon, and I know that they teach correct principles that can help us come closer to Jesus Christ. Though I have lost family members over the years, I have faith that I will be able to live with my family forever, even after death. I am a Mormon especially because I am able to understand more fully the Atonement of the Savior. I know that He suffered all things, both for pain and for sin, and that it is through the Atonement that I can find peace and joy in this life and the life to come.
How I live my faith
I was raised in the Church and have been very involved my whole life. I served in various leadership callings as a youth, and I loved the chances I had to go home teach the members of my ward. My talent for piano has been put to good use since my youth, as I have served as a pianist both in my home ward and in my ward in Utah. I especially look forward to when I get to serve as a missionary in South Africa.
