Hi I'm Elder Baker!

I grew up in Utah, USA. I am a rock climber. I'm a mormon!

About Me

My hobbies include Taekwondo, rock climbing, playing the piano, hiking, camping, and exploring. I am currently serving a 2 year voluntary mission in Daejeon, South Korea.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is a part of my family heritage. But more importantly, I am a Mormon because I want to be. I love how being a Mormon brings me peace and happiness. I am a Mormon because I have felt the peace, joy, and comfort that comes from the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that has been restored to this earth through a prophet called of God.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a full time mission in Daejeon, South Korea. I am so excited to serve the Korean people and learn how much the Savior loves them. I love missionary work. I love he Gospel. And I love my Savior, Jesus Christ!

Where did Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints begin?

Elder Baker!
When Jesus Christ was on the earth He organized His church in it's complete fullness. When Christ was crucified His apostles ran the church. But when the apostles died or wee killed the world went into apostasy, which is where God's power is taken from the earth and the fullness of the gospel is removed. In 1820, God began the process of restoring His church once more upon the earth. He called a young boy named Joseph Smith to restore the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through a prophet, called of God, the fullness of Christ's gospel is once again on the earth and God has promised that it will not be taken again from the earth until Christ comes again to the earth.
