Hi I'm Kristyn Marie Sites

I grew up in Northern Utah. I'm an Art Major at Utah Valley University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a lot of different hobbies that include music, art, reading, writing, and camping with my family. I have done a lot of traveling to places including Mexico, Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Turkey, as well as other states in the US. I played soccer and basketball in high school and loved the friendships and life lessons that I learned from being a part of a team. I attend Utah Valley University as an Art Major.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church but I didn't always have my head on straight. I made a lot of mistakes when I was younger because of some unbearable trials that I had to face. I was angry at my Heavenly Father for making me go through such awful things and it wasn't until I was at my absolute lowest that everything finally clicked. I was reading this book by Brad Wilcox called the Continuous Atonement and there was a phrase in there that just changed everything for me. "He kept his scars to remind us that we can be free of ours." I never felt the love of our Savior more than in that moment. In that moment, I knew that it all was true and I couldn't contain myself. Through all of my trials, even though I thought that I had been alone, I now knew that I never was. That I had two people there with me the entire time. That is why I am a Mormon; because through everything, my Savior and Father never, not once, left me alone.

How I live my faith

I currently am a Ward Missionary in my ward and that has helped my prepare for my mission immensely. I love going to church every week and seeing friends as well as the wonderful members of the bishopric. I am constantly looking for missionary opportunities and pray for them often. Keeping the scriptures and prayer part of my daily routine is an absolute must and I can most definitely see the difference that it has made in my life. I am now serving as a missionary for the Church in the Florida Tampa Mission.
