Hi I'm Nathan

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I love to play volleyball, share my talents on the cello. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 18 years old. I'm the youngest of a family of 6. I'm an Eagle Scout. Some of my favorite hobbies include: playing nearly any sport, playing my cello for others, and cinematography where I record fun life events with my friends and family with my GoPro. I will be serving a Mission in Nampa, Idaho for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! After which I will be attending Brigham Young University to pursue my education.I love to be outdoors, and enjoy going to the lake with my family to wakeboard and wakesurf.

Why I am a Mormon

When My parents divorced when I was 10 years old, It left me with a lot of questions of wether or not I truly believed in the things like wether families can truly be together forever and if the church was true all of which I was raised and taught to know up to that point in my life. Having the knowledge that I can take anything to our Heavenly Father and that I can receive and answer I took my questions to the Lord. My answers were not instantaneous, but my answers did came through powerful witness of the Holy Ghost one of which I was singing "Families Can Be Together Forever" in Church, and while reading the Joseph Smith History found in the scriptures. All of these events helped lay the foundation of my testimony that I know the Church is true. I know that we have a Father in Heaven that knows, and loves each and everyone of us. I know that through the atonement of Christ I can overcome all things and that all my imperfections and mistakes can be made right. To put it in the most simplistic way possible. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is Happiness. And I know and am soo grateful to be able to say this as it has helped me through some tough moments. So I encourage all to pray to Heavenly Father and ask if the Church of Jesus Christ has been restored and if you have a sincere desire to know and change. You will receive an answer.

How I live my faith

I answer questions about my faith from my peers at my High School. I try to go out with the local missionaries in my area often to meet and teach individuals that are interested to learn more about our faith. I have helped organize a youth event open to any and all youth in our local area to participate. I try my best to be loving and inviting to all those that are around me.
