Hi I'm Randy

I enjoy playing sports (soccer and track as well as many others). I also enjoying playing music (the double bass). I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy playing soccer (goalie) and participating in track and field as a hurdler and discus thrower. I also enjoy listening to various types of music and playing the double bass. I enjoy volunteering around the community. I am an Eagle Scout.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know of the peace that comes from the teachings of Christ and especially from the fullness of His gospel. Christ's gospel, which remained on the earth broken and scattered after the original twelve apostles were killed, has been restored. I know that Christ's authority and power has been restored in its fullness. I know that Christ is the literal Son of God and that as we rely on Him we will be blessed by His strength, which is so much greater than our own. I know that God loves us and wants the best for us. I know that miracles still happen today and that God has not stopped sending us His love because it is the modern day. Our Heavenly Father is the same yesterday, today and forever and He continues to bless us today through prophets just as in time of old. I enjoy so much the joyful feelings of the Holy Ghost and the happiness that the fullness of the gospel brings to me. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

In my community, I volunteer a lot. I tutor in math and music, assist people with moving in or out of their homes, and snow shovel for neighbors who can not do it themselves (or who just weren't quick enough to beat me to it). I participated in National Honors Society and continue to look for opportunities to serve. I volunteer at a camp for kids with special needs and it is such a blast!
