Hi I'm Lauren

I'm a wife and a mother. I love reading, going on family bike rides, and travelling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a family with 6 kids and I absolutely loved it! I am the second oldest. I moved quite a bit growing up due to my dad's job and I loved getting to meet new people and gaining new experiences. I grew up travelling a lot. I lived in Germany for a little over two years and while we were there we were able to travel to so many different countries and that was something that was priceless for me. We got to meet so many people and experience different cultures. I love just sitting down and reading a good book. I also love being outside when the weather is nice. I love going on hikes, family bike rides, playing tennis, going swimming, and having picnics. I have a second degree black belt in TaeKwonDo and I want to train in other martial arts as well. I currently have my associates in Business Administration and I am planning on going back to school soon to continue on to get my Bachelors degree.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love this Gospel! I know that this is the true church. I know that we can be sealed to our families for eternity. I know that God loves each and every one of us more than we can comprehend. I know that God wants nothing more than for us to be happy and to succeed. I know that God hears and answers our prayers. I know that God will help overcome our trials and that we can learn from these trials. I know that I am a child of God and that he loves me!

How I live my faith

In our faith we believe that it is so important to serve and help others. I have participated in many service projects including cleaning people's yards, making dolls for children who are staying in hospitals, singing to those in nursing homes, collecting canned goods for the salvation army, making blankets for those that are staying in crisis centers. I have loved participating in each of these service projects and getting to help those that can't always help themselves. In the last few years I have also helped in my church with teaching some of the younger children. We would have lessons about loving others, helping others, being kind, prayer, showing gratitude, and lessons on being a child of God. I have also helped with the compassionate service committee in our church. One of my favorite things I got to do for this committee was being in charge of meal sign-ups for new mothers. Being a new mom can be overwhelming and having these meals brought to them will hopefully make that new adjustment just a little easier for them.
