Hi I'm Bronson

I grew up in Utah. I love my family and friends and look forward to serving others. I'm a mormon

About Me

Since I was a kid, I've always liked video games. Although I don't play them as much anymore, I still like playing them a lot, and I still consider myself well part of that culture. Besides that though, I have grown to be interested in many other hobbies throughout the years. I like hiking and going on long walks, admiring the beauty of the Earth. Doing this is one of my favorite things to do, as it gives me the opportunity to think and reflect. My dad and I would often go up the hiking trail in our backyard when I was younger, and I would explore the mountains with my friends. I also know how to play the piano, and because of this I have gotten well into music, taking band when I went to middle school; but I switched to jazz band playing the piano in high school because I liked that more. Music is such a huge aspect of my life, at one point I took jazz piano lessons from a college professor, which I always looked forward to. Recently I finished the Dental Assisting course at MATC, which was my first college experience, and a great one at that! Writing is another favorite hobby of mine. I have participated in NaNoWriMo a few times, and have always striven to become a better writer. I like writing many things too: poems, stories, articles, arguments, it doesn't matter what it is, I have a passion for all types writing.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I need the teachings of Jesus Christ in my life. Realizing that there are other religions which teach of Christ use to confuse me, but after searching the scriptures for the truth, I was always guided back to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Apostles and Prophets are needed in a world of confusion and turmoil such as this, and Christ has always required them for his church. It also states in Ephesians 2:19-21 that Christ builds his church upon apostles and prophets, with Him being the cornerstone, using them to guide his saints. D&C 112:30 is another place of many in the scriptures that states the need for apostles and prophets, which is something only found in the LDS church. The priesthood is another reason I know this church is true. Christ has always said that the priesthood would be part of his church, and ordained to his followers. The Atonement of Jesus Christ has brought peace in my life, and living my life in accordance to the word of this gospel has brought me happiness unlike any other I can explain, and beyond understanding of what my life would be without it. Because of the guidance of Heavenly Father in my life, I look forward to the future, and have faith that though life may at times be challenging and discouraging, if I live worthily and obediently through all things, God will guide me down the path that he knows is right for me. And the path Heavenly Father leads is the right path, whether or whether not it goes how I planned it.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I've been a leader multiple times in some sort of a calling. Whether it be helping others come to church, or visiting those who need someone to talk to, I have always been happy to serve. Living my standards and morals outside of church is just as important too though! Everyday when I wake up for the day, I read my scriptures and try to find something that I can pull for that day; something to think about. Doing this helps me search for how I am living my life in unison with what is right, and it greatly aids me in keeping myself focused and devoted in improving who I am as a person. Serving my community is another way I live my faith, by participating in activities which make my area a better place. Whether it be a service project oriented in shoveling driveways in winter, or donating money to a local charity, anyway to serve is a way to help others; which is what I hope to do each day. Always looking for what is right and true in life is something that I have to remind myself of, and one of the ways I do this is by praying often for guidance and direction in what to do. In doing this, I find it that my life is more joyful and purposeful.
