Hi I'm Madison Clawson

I'm a small town left-handed ginger girl who loves the little things in life. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my first year at college where I am studying psychology. I loved going to school. I am now leaving to serve in the Chile Viña del Mar mission and am so excited to live with the Chilean people for the next year and a half! I love people and adventures. My dream is to live my life as if every day is an adventure.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel is my rock. It's my source of power, protection, and peace. It gives me truth and direction and comfort. By living the gospel principles, I have come to know my Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. I know that He loves his children and cares about what happens to them all. I know that His Son died for us so that we can be freed from sin and pain. This gives me hope; hope for the future and hope for myself. Hope that I can overcome my faults and become more Christlike. After reading the Book of Mormon I have come to know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint is Christ's church restored to our day. I know that Joseph Smith restored the Church and the priesthood and that through the power of that priesthood we can be sealed to our families and return to live with God again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live as the Savior would. Though I fall short, I find strength by following Him. My faith is part of my everyday life and I strive to live so that my character can reflect the Savior's. I believe that faith isn't what you do, but who you become by doing what you do. For me it isn't about checking off a to-do list or practicing my faith to be noticed by others, it's about living righteously so that one day I can be perfected through Christ.
