Hi I'm Megan Powell

I love playing and teaching violin and viola. I am preparing to serve a mission. I'm a Morman.

About Me

I enjoy playing the violin and viola. I have recently been studying music at a University in Utah. Although I love practicing the violin and viola, I'd rather teach or tutor a young musician on their instrument any day. I've been teaching violin/viola in a solo and orchestra setting for about 4 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt, and do feel, Heavenly Father's and Jesus Christ's love for me individually. I know that they are in every detail of my life, and I know that they are in every detail of all of our lives. Sometimes it can be confusing. You may ask yourselves why you had to go through such hardships, but I know that there is a purpose. I have learned this by reading the scriptures, keeping the commandments and praying with an open heart. I feel so blessed to have this true gospel in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by helping to spread my love of our gospel through music. This past year I was called to be the music coordinator in my ward. I was able to share my testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ by selecting and conducting the music for our sacrament meetings.
