Hi I'm David

I grew up in Utah, I served in the U.S. Navy, and now I teach mathematics to 7th and 8th grade students. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have had many jobs. military, service technician, roofer, machinist, and now a math teacher. I have a beautiful wife, four children, and 7 amazing grandchildren. I love to spend time with my family - in the mountains, on the beach, or indoors - all are fine, if I am with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons). Before I was a teenager, I needed to learn for myself if what I believed was true. The answers did not come all at once, but I am happy to say that I know that this Church is true. I notice that the closer I get to following the teachings of my Savior, the happier I am. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my meetings regularly. To me, that is important. At church I help to coordinate meetings and appointments for our Bishop and his counselors. I enjoy what I do at church and feel it strengthens my faith as I get to work with so many wonderful members of my ward.
