Hi I'm Teuesa
I grew up in Xmas Island and I'm going to serve in the Philippines Iloilo mission and I love learning a new language (Ilonggo).
About Me
I am Sister Tebukei and I'm from Kiribati and I like to play volleyball because I find that it is a interesting hobby to learn. I am a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ Of latter day saints and I was called to labor in Philippines, Iloilo mission and I love my mission especially I love learning a new language. It is a blessing for me and I know that I was called by the Prophet of God, not by chance and random. I believe that a desire to serve your mission can bring many souls unto God by inviting them to come unto Christ.
Why I am a Mormon
I was converted to the church in 2007 when I was in primary and I count this as a blessing to me. I was taught by Elder Tupou and Rereieta and when they taught us the first time, we feel nothing and never fulfill the commitment/invitation but as we feel the spirit testifying their lessons that it is true that when the change of heart comes, I know that from there, we try to fulfill the commitments and we pray much about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon and the spirit tells me that it is true and the this is the true church of Jesus Christ and that when I accept the invitation to be baptized. I encourage you to pray with real intent of heart so that you can be satisfied with the answer of your prayer.
How I live my faith
Before I went on my mission, I participate in my branch baptismal service. I talk about Baptism and I explain that baptism is the only way to come back to God as it is said in the Bible John 3:5 and I know that if we are not baptize, we cannot enter into the kingdom of God. I teach branch members and I know that the spirit testify to those who are converted that it is true. I only help those who are planning to go on a mission by finding jobs for them and also by inviting them to seminary and institutes class and especially inviting them to come every Sunday to renew their covenants which is the most important part of our lives.
