Hi I'm Eve

I grew up in Utah. I'm a math teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah with eight siblings. I have recently gotten my degree in Math Education. Other than teaching and Math, I love to read, spend time with my family, and spend time in the mountains.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents are Mormon, and I grew up attending Church meetings with my family. I was baptized when I was 8 and became a member of the Church. However, when I was about 12 I realized that I wasn't 100% sure that I believed in this gospel. I knew that I had to figure out if this Church was true or not. I continued to attend Church, to read the scriptures and to pray like I had been taught. I searched for answers to my questions about the Church and for confirmation from God that what I had been taught was true. I know that Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is God's Church. I have felt it in my heart and it makes sense to me. No argument that I've heard against the Church has ever convinced me that the Church isn't true. Nothing else in my life has helped me draw closer to the Savior like the teachings in the Church and I believe that I am better person because of it.

How I live my faith

My father always taught me and my siblings that we could show our love for others through service. Following his example, and the of the Savior, I try to help out in my community by doing yard work, helping my neighbors move, etc. When I attend Church services, I also teach Sunday School lessons to my peers. I also help organize events for the people in my community since there aren't many of us, and it's nice to have an activity planned and prepped to go to. Similarly, I visit some of the other women of the Church in my area regularly to see that they are doing alright emotionally, spiritually and physically.
