Hi I'm Kathleen Warburton

I am a college student who is studying International Business, a proud aunt, and soon to be a missionary. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My full name has more than half the alphabet letters in it. There are six children in my family and I am the youngest. There are four girls and two boys. I have seven nieces and nephews and one on the way. My family is very close and during my free time, I love to spend it with them. I recently finished my freshmen year in college. It was one of the best years of my life. My roommates became my best friends. I love to dance. I have been dancing since I was three and have been a part of all kinds of dance teams, either studio, school or competing teams. My favorite types of food are either Mexican or Italian. My guilty pleasures are cheesecake, chocolate covered almonds, and cinnamon bears. I have grown up in the gospel with having Christ being the center of my life. With having the Gospel be a big part of my life, I have learned that when I have faith anything can be possible. God is always with us, even when we are going through trials. He will be there to comfort us and be our rock to conquer the troubled waters of life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings comfort and happiness to my life. Life has its ups and downs and sometimes the downs are extremely hard to go through, that I sometimes feel alone and I don't think I can get through it. But, I remember Christ is with me and will help me through it. Christ suffered for our sins and has felt all the pains we feel. And seeing my faith in Him grow through the hard times, my eyes are opened to the blessings that are given to me and helps me through my trials. Knowing his Plan of Salvation testifies to me that there is more in life. I have had close family members pass away and having the knowledge of seeing them again in Heaven is such a comfort; it gets me through the day. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have such a pure love for us. Heavenly Father sent his son, Jesus Christ, to the earth to teach his teachings and suffer for our sins so we can repent and be able to return to him. I have a testimony this Gospel is true. And with trusting and having faith in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, they will not lead us astray and will be with us in our times of need.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is being any kind of example. Either it being kind to others when they are in need, being worthy of any call that I am assigned to, or doing the things that will keep me close to the Spirit. Every opportunity I have to share my testimony, I do either in Church or to help my friends who are struggling. I attend my Church meetings and faithfully read my scriptures every day. Sunday is such a wonderful day because it is the Lords day. This day, I find ways to stay close to him. Either it being listening to spiritual music, doing service, or simply spending time with family. The LDS church is miraculous and with knowing the blessings and happiness it brings, I have chosen to serve a mission. I have been called to the Ecuador Guayaquil North Mission. I know that having Christ be a big part of my life, I can help bring others unto him and help them know their purpose in life and of his Plan of Happiness.
