Hi I'm Zac

I grew up near Salt Lake City. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In high school I played football, ran track, and was on the competition cheer team. Now I am in college and loving the experience. I love playing piano, biking, surfing, boating, and anything else outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a part of this church, but I know for myself that this church is true. I have spent countless hours on my knees praying and even more studying the word of God in the scriptures. I have chosen to serve a mission and will leave now in about a week. I know this is the right thing for me to do at this time in my life and I know that if I give two years of my life wholly to God, he will bless me with blessings immeasurable.

How I live my faith

My church calling while away at school is to teach the priesthood men of the church. I would organize a lesson and teach on Sunday about our priesthood responsibilities.

What is the priesthood?

Priesthood is the authority given from God to act on his behalf on this earth. Men who are worthy holders of the priesthood are able to give blessings to the sick, perform church ordinances, along with other functions. One of the most important thing to remember with the priesthood is that it can't be used for oneself. For example, a holder of the priesthood can give blessings to others, but he can't lay his own hands on his head and give himself a blessing. Another priesthood holder must do this for him. While you can't directly adminisiter blessings to yourself, you can still receive blessings through your priesthood service to others. Show more Show less
