Hi I'm Emmie Brown

I was born in Salt Lake City. I'm about to embark on an 18 month mission to Chicago, Illinois. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love anything that gets me interacting with people. I LOVE when people tell me stories or anything about themselves. I enjoy interacting with and getting to know everyone, and I love making new friends! I like to learn. I recently completed my freshman year of college as a business student studying marketing. I am planning on traveling the world, meeting new people, and going on amazing adventures. I also adore any and all kinds of animals-especially the baby kind.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of love. Love is the center of our gospel and our church. Christ loved his brothers and sisters so much He performed the ultimate sacrifice so we could return to Him again. God loved his sons and daughters so much he sacrificed His only begotten son so that He can see us once more. Love is essential to God's plan and love is what our church runs on. God loves His children so much, he sent us The Book of Mormon, modern day Prophets, Temples, the knowledge of the Plan of Salvation, and other infinite blessings. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true because it is Christ's church. He is the center and focus of all that we do, and He loves us more than we can comprehend. The message of love and eternity is the happiest one of all, and everyone should share in the joy and happiness that Christ's church brings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by taking a break from college, relationships, friendships and many other worldly things for eighteen months as I embark on a full-time LDS mission. I also live my faith through the many callings and responsibilities asked of me. I love to share the gospel via social media and I show others how I live my faith through that platform.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Emmie Brown
We believe that the family is the most essential piece of God's divine plan. We believe that the family is an eternal unit that, through special sealing ordinances, can be together forever. We believe death does not separate loved ones forever, and we believe that we will see our loved ones again after they die. Show more Show less
