Hi I'm Vicky

I was born in Idaho, but I grew up in northern Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 8 grown children. I have 33 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. My favorite thing to do is be with my family. During my life I have enjoyed, sewing, painting, singing, playing the piano, decorating and traveling. I have traveled to many countries and enjoy the cultures and people that I have met. I love doing family history research, finding out about my ancestors.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love it with all my heart. It has helped me to be a better wife and mother and grandmother. Our church stresses the importance of families and teaches us that we can be together forever. It has helped me when I have lost loved ones, because I know that I will see them again. This life is not the end, only the beginning. It has helped me to grow in knowledge, spirituality and develop skills to not only improve my life, but those whom I serve. I know that the Savior Jesus Christ loves me and wants me to be happy. I love serving Him and sharing His gospel with those who would like to know what makes me so happy.

How I live my faith

I have always tried to serve others whenever I can. I love to share talents and watch others to grow. I have taught children, young adults and women in various classes in my church. I have organized many activities and events that I have been responsible for. I play the organ and piano in church and help others to come to know Christ as their Savior. When our children were young, I taught them to serve and to love one another and to love the Lord.
