Hi I'm Brooklyn Jenkins

I'm from Seattle, WA and Mapleton, UT. Now serving in the New Hampshire Manchester Mission! USU, hockey, and Jesus have my heart.

About Me

Right now, being a missionary is pretty much all I know how to talk about. However, before my mission, you could find me at a hockey game, watching Netflix in a fort, or hammocking in the woods somewhere. I completed a year of college at Utah State University, and have been serving a mission sine July, 2016 in the New Hampshire Manchester Mission. Horseback riding, scuba diving, and ice skating are some of my favorite things. I'm also that one girl that in 3rd grade who said she wanted to be a dolphin trainer, but is actually doing it. I LOVE being a missionary, and I love Jesus Christ!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Because it makes sense. This gospel just clicks in my brain, and works so perfectly. I love how personalized the gospel can be. It looks different on every person, and that's okay! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints allows me to be myself, and still have a relationship with my Savior. I'm so grateful for the knowledge I have of a loving Heavenly Father, who knows me personally. I know that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is real, and applies to YOU. I have seen firsthand how regret can become relief because of Jesus Christ. The peace and joy that comes from being a Mormon is indescribable!

How I live my faith

In the 2015-16 school year, I served as a Family Home Evening leader in my ward. Before that, I was in the Laurel class presidency in the Young Women's program. Watch out for me on the dance floor at stake dances. I usually end up hurting myself or losing my glasses. Recently, however, I live my faith by being a missionary. Teaching people about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ is the most amazing experience ever!
