Hi I'm Sierra Johnson

I come from a part member family. I love the outdoors. I love people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I attend Brigham Young University and study Business Management. I am currently serving a church mission in Busan, Korea for 18 months. I love to play guitar and piano and to sing with my friends and strangers. Talking is my favorite hobby as well as hiking and camping. People are my passion and I love serving them. My Mom is a convert to the church and my sister, her and I are all active members. I am so grateful for her courage to join the Gospel and all the blessings it has brought me and my family. My Dad is not a member, but is so loving and supportive. I love my family!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because this religion has brought me nothing but happiness. It has been hard to live a religion that neither my Dad nor my extended family shares, but I continue because I love my Savior Jesus Christ and have come to know Him. Nothing else brings me more strength and happiness than this restored Gospel. I know it is true. I know with every fiber of my being that the Church of Jesus Christ is the same Gospel that Christ taught while He was on the Earth. I know that Joseph Smith did indeed see our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ and I know Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God and that it is the most correct book on this Earth and testifies of Christ, just like the Bible. I know the Lord blesses those who follow Him and I know that He will strengthen you in all your trials and throughout all your life if you but turn to Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by smiling and talking to everyone. Everyone needs a friend. Everyone deserves to be appreciated and valued. People matter. I also show my faith by serving a mission in Busan, Korea for 18 months. It is a sacrifice of my time that I willingly give up so I can serve the people in Korea. Learning Korean has taught me so much about how to rely completely upon our loving Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ. Philippians 4:13 all the way.
