Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. My dad was always a member but my mother was a convert to the church. As I grew up learning and growing about the gospel and what it does for me, I have seen miracles and blessing that comes from God. I know that there is a Heavenly Father who loves us. He sent his son Jesus Christ to die for us so we can receive the blessing and happiness in our lives. I know that Joseph Smith was a true apostle of God who restore this Church today. I love the example I set for those young children. Teaching them about our Savior helps me to recognize the true purpose of the plan that Heavenly Father has for us. The small and simple things you do everyday helps those be happy. I continue to follow gospel because I know that families can be enteral. That after this life we are able to return to those we love. As we strive to be like Christ he will bless us. I still continue because what I know is true. I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Since being baptize at age 8 I have seen my faith grown from studying the scriptures and attending church. There are so many form of ways I live my faith by being a good example to those around me as well as showing the love I have for my heavenly Father. I am currently serving s mission because I know that the gospel is true as well as my faith and testimony is being strengthen.

What is being a Mormon like?

Kristina Larson
Being a mormon can be hard. Living outside the states I was the only mormon in my school. Standing up for myself was hard and I always wonder what was my purpose here. Being a mormon you can have people criticize and make you feel bad about being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Their are many of those who have been in situations like that. There are people who have the same values you hold. Wether it be anywhere in the world there are those who are just like you and willing to fight for the cause. I love being mormon because I am much happier and I feel the presence of my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
