Hi I'm Marcus

I live in Idaho. I am a farmer. I love being happy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Throughout my life I have been participating in football, basketball, baseball, soccer, track and field, and basically any other sport. I love music and try to play the french horn, guitar, trumpet, and piano. I enjoy being a leader. I was student body president at my small school of just under two hundred students. Chemistry is one of my major interests. I am currently at the Missionary Training Center where I've been learning how to share this wonderful gospel to the people in the Marshall Islands.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised to be a Mormon all my life. My whole family is very involved in this church. There were days where I would just go through the process of going to church, going to mutual activities, and listening to conference. I went through a phase where I wasn't doing exactly what I should have been doing. After I talked to my Bishop about some of the trials, I went through the repentance process. I have a testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ. I know that He suffered for my sins and short comings. I know that He also suffered for everybody else's sins too. After going through the repentance process, I have never been so happy in my entire life. I know that Heavenly Father loves me and all of His children. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and the great Plan of Happiness allows me to live with my family forever. I know that Joseph Smith was called of God to restore the Gospel and the priesthood. I know that President Thomas S. Monson was also called of God, and I ordain all my church leaders to help receive revelation to guide every single member. My testimony is what nobody can shut down. I know people will disagree with me. But I have faith that my testimony is one hundred percent true, and nobody can tell me otherwise.

How I live my faith

I participate in seminary. I think of activities that would be fun for my friends that are also in the ward. I love singing, so I joined the ward choir and even the stake choir. I enjoy serving everyone I can.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

I have friends that aren't Mormon. That doesn't mean that I won't give them a hand or help out with anything they need. Service is a large part of the church. I always look into helping anyone I possible can. Show more Show less
