Hi I'm Parker Gardner

I grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho. I am a missionary. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college student, and I just barely finished my freshman year. I graduated a year early from high school in order to be able to go to college early. While in high school, I being a member of the tennis team, and I served as Student Body President my senior year. I am currently preparing to leave to serve on my mission in Colombia. I look forward to the opportunity that I have to serve God and His children.

Why I am a Mormon

I had the privilege of being born into the Gospel Fold and was baptized at eight years old, so my conversion story is not that of a later in life convert, but rather that of someone who has been trying to become converted his entire life. I can say that this has been working, as I can feel the spirit when I pray, read the scriptures, attend church, and listen to other inspired words. I know that Heavenly Father has blessed me with a lot in my life, and I plan to live my life in service of Him. Though I do feel like I have a strong testimony, I know that my knowledge is not perfect. I strive to find answers to my questions and become a better instrument for my Father in Heaven to use in His work.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church weekly and trying to read the scriptures as well as pray daily. As I go through each day, I have the goal set to try and at least feel the spirit a little bit everyday. While attending college, I held a couple different callings in the student ward that I was in. I, along with another student, was in charge of coordinating weekly get-together activities for my "family" group on Monday nights. I also was a part of leadership over a quorum of guys as well.
