Hi I'm Zhammy

I Choose to be a Mormon not because my family or friends said so, but I know it is true. I Love it and I Live it. So I share it.

About Me

I just turned 21 last July 20. I graduated Bachelor of Science in Information Technology last April 2015 at The Technological Institute of the Philippines at the age of 19.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church since I can remember. My parents did everything for them to raise us in the church. I grew up with them teaching us the gospel. I grew up hearing their testimonies. But when I got older, My personal conversion happened. I started to ask questions. I told myself that hearing my parent’s testimonies are not enough. I don’t want just to borrow my testimony from them. But I want to have and know it for my own. Most of the schools and people here in our country are catholic or other Christian sect. At school, I had a lot of classmates and friends who have different faiths. Since they we’re my friends, there are times that they are inviting me to come to them to their church. I tried to come but I felt the undeniable power of the Holy Ghost and the completeness of the gospel of the true Church of Jesus Christ. From then on, I am the one who invites them and if I got the chance, I am sharing the Gospel to them. They really like to listen to me and there are times that they are the one who initiates to ask questions about the church. Especially when I am in college, I had a lot of opportunity to share to my friends the gospel. My friends even know that I attend Institute of religion. They become very supportive, that they are the one who reminds me that I have an institute class when I sometimes forgot. I am very thankful for heavenly father because he gave me that kind of set of friends even though we are of different religion. Setting a great example is indeed a really great help. My family is a product of hard working valiant missionaries. I witnessed the greatness and power of serving a full time mission from those missionaries who have served our family back then. If not by them, we would have not known the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We would not have the chance to have the opportunity to be sealed together through time and eternity.

How I live my faith

I am currently a Primary Valiant Class teacher and a Ward Missionary. I really love working with the missionaries. Their hard works inspires me. I’ve seen the growth of our ward because of their works. I also loooove my Valiant primary students. They are the sweetest! Teaching them makes me happy. I enjoy making our class very fun as I ensure their learning about the gospel of Christ.
