Hi I'm Adalie Twede

I am a pianist, book fanatic and I love the arts. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a musical family and was very involved in the arts in general. I love learning about the history of art and spending time with my family. The perfect day to me includes sitting on a comfy chair, curled up with a good book and my cat, and looking out on a rainy day. I love working with children and have found so much joy in teaching children. I am currently serving as a missionary for eighteen months in the Tennessee Knoxville area. I love the Gospel and I love the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. My parents taught me in the home and I went to church on Sundays. It wasn't until I started reading my scriptures that I gained a strong testimony of the things I was taught. I started reading the Book of Mormon everyday when I was twelve. I learned so much about the Savior's love for His children and really started to dive into the church. While attending a conference for the youth of the church, a leader challenged our group to pray to feel God's love for us. That night, while I prayed, I asked to feel His love for me personally. I was immediately overwhelmed with the greatest feeling of love and acceptance I have ever felt. I know that God loves each and every one of us and I know that He wants what is best for us. The church has helped me to grow closer to God. I know that as we follow His commandments, our love for Him and His children will grow. True happiness can be found in the Gospel.

How I live my faith

The Gospel affects every part of my life. It affects what I talk about, what I read, what I watch. Scripture study has become a huge part of how I live my life. I love reading the words of the prophets and striving each day to better align my will with God's. My faith motivates me to reach outward, to help others and to pray that God can use me as an instrument for good in others lives.
