Hi I'm Holly

I grew up in St.Anthony, Idaho. I'm married and have 4 children. I'm a 5th grade teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married for 24 years to a wonderful man who is a great husband and father. I'm a mom of 4 amazing kids and recently became a mother-in-law. It's crazy how fast your kids grow up. I recently said goodbye to my son for 2 years as he left to serve a mission in Ghana. It's probably one of the hardest things I've had to do. My main hobby right now is supporting my children in their activities and events. I love watching them learn and grow as they experience challenges and successes. Other things I enjoy doing are reading, exercising, cooking, gardening, cleaning, listening to uplifting music, shopping, and socializing. I am a BYU graduate and love supporting BYU athletics. Go Cougars! I've been a teacher for 22 years. It's a hard job and requires a lot of my time, but I love my students and enjoy going to work.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because my parents were Mormons and taught me about the gospel. I chose to be baptized when I was 8 years old. I continue to be a Mormon because I have a testimony that the gospel was restored to this earth by the Prophet Joseph Smith and that living prophets lead our church today. I know that Christ is the head of this church and that it is through living prophets that he tells us the things we need to know. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ lived, died, and was resurrected. Because of him, I too shall live again. This I know and testify of.

How I live my faith

I currently work with the youth in our ward. I help plan and carry out activities for them. It's a busy calling, but I love my associations with them. They are great examples to me. I marvel at their incredible strength to withstand the temptations of our day. I'm also a visiting teacher and enjoy visiting three ladies in my ward. My husband and I have been asked to be Ma's and Pa's for an upcoming pioneer trek our youth will be going on. We look forward to the growth and adventure we will experience with them.
