Hi I'm Jasmine

I'm a college student, I love music, I love making people laugh, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college student studying Elementary Education as my major. Nothing makes me happier than playing the piano and singing. A few of my favorite things are making people laugh, reading, dancing, being outside, and writing. I have been called to serve a mission in Kansas and I am so excited to be able to share my love for my beliefs.

Why I am a Mormon

It doesn't matter whether a person is born and raised in the church or converted later in life, we all still must go through our own conversion. My conversion began when I realized the importance of obedience. I found that I was unhappy with the life I was living and that a change was needed, even though I had grown up in the church. This experience helped me see the joy that comes from keeping the commandments and that strengths really can come from a weakness with the help of our Savior. My testimony is growing every day through the experiences and opportunities that I have, and it is amazing to see how God is in every detail of my life even when I'm not paying attention to it.

How I live my faith

I believe that faith is all about changing the way you think, act, and react in a way that creates hope and love for God and all of His children. My faith isn't just about going to church every Sunday, it's about taking what I learn on Sunday and applying it throughout the entire week to become a better follower of Christ. By following the example of Jesus Christ, I can be successful in whatever I choose to do. Whether it is teaching five and six year old children about the gospel, being a missionary, or someday becoming a wife and mother, if I put my faith and trust in Him I can achieve anything I set my mind to do.
