Hi I'm Tyler

I'm from Michigan, I'm an athlete, scholar, speak Spanish, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always been a very involved and active person. I ran varsity track and cross country for all four years of high school and set a couple records in the mile and 800m. I was also a varsity swimmer for all four years of high school. Among all of my athletics I graduated at the top of my class and received a scholarship to The University of Michigan -- Ann Arbor where I am/was/will be studying Aerospace Engineering. I really enjoy flight. I build and fly model airplanes. I enjoy working on my car and driving. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and making the most of everything. I like to wakeboard and water ski. I enjoy fishing for Salmon with my family on Lake Michigan. If it's something outdoors or competitive I probably would like doing it. I play piano, played the viola for a little while, and enjoy listening to music. Currently I am serving as a Spanish Speaking missionary in the Arizona Tucson Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I can feel the love an de peace of God in my life. The only thing that being a member of The Lord's Restored church has been joy and happiness. I had the privilege of growing up in the church and having loving parents that always taught me good principles. But I am a Mormon because I have a strong testimony of the Restored Gospel. I have a great love for studying the Book of Mormon and in each and everyone of it's pages I learn something that I can apply to my life that helps me to continue forward even through difficult times. I may not be perfect, but I know that as I apply the principles that I learn in the scriptures it helps to draw me closer to God. I've also had the privilege of serving in the Arizona Tucson Mission for the last little while and have had the opportunity to see how he Gospel can bless the lives of others. The Gospel is for everyone and irregardless of he problems we have have, with faith inJesus Christ we can always overcome them.

How I live my faith

During my time at college I had the opportunity to serve as a ward missionary. I helped the missionaries with visits and teaching people who were interested in learning more about the gospel. I talk about the gospel with just about every person I meet. I try to set an example to my family, friends, and peers. I try to act as if there is always someone looking over my shoulder to see what I'm doing to help me remember who I am, what I stand for, and what my purpose is. I also made the decision to serve a full time mission after my first year of college and now I am living in Tucson, Arizona preaching the gospel in Spanish. It is by far the best decision I have made in my life.
