Hi I'm Audrey

I grew up in Idaho. I'm a writer and a dreamer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music and play (some) piano. I'm the oldest of a large, blended family, and I love each member dearly. In the future I want to publish the stories that have been growing inside of me since I was young, but right now, I'm letting the Lord lead me to where He wants me to be.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, and I've always sensed that the Gospel is sacred and right, but I didn't know the fullness of my Heavenly Father's love for me until I was thirteen, and my parents went through a divorce. It was a dark time as our family split, and I felt hopeless with the situation I was in and with the decisions I had made. Fortunately, the Holy Ghost never left me, and He brought repentance to my mind continually. After wrestling with the guilt and sorrow I finally went to my dad and my bishop, and things were taken care of. The feeling of joy that followed was immense. I felt lighter, like a literal weight had been lifted from my shoulders and up into the heavens. My future opened up in front of me, and I can truly testify of the spiritual healing that comes from using the Atonement of Jesus Christ. My life wasn't instantly easier after this experience. In fact, I had some intense trials that could have broken me and some relationships with members of my family had I not had this new strength from the Lord. I am very grateful that His love reached me in the depths of despair and lifted me to be the person I am today. I know that He lives, He loves us, and that the prophets He has in place are inspired to preach the gospel and warn of things to come.

How I live my faith

I'm now serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I love it! I've learned so much and I'm excited to share the joy I've felt from the gospel with others.
