Hi I'm Janean Bell

I'm a California girl born and raised. I am a BYU-I student. Soon to be Hermana Bell in Ecuador. But most important I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the sixth kid in my family with three older brothers and two older sisters. It doesn't stop there though. I have 13 nieces and nephews and I love them to death! My favorite things consist of sports: all kinds (but soccer is the best), being outdoors, going to the beach and painting. I am attending BYU- Idaho and love everything about it, the teachers, students, inter-murals and especially the classes. I am studying psychology but still figuring out my future career because there are many amazing options I am exploring. Now I am preparing to serve a mission in Quito, Ecuador! I love the gospel and my Savior. I cannot wait to share this with others and the amazing people of Ecuador!

Why I am a Mormon

Prayer is powerful and I have learned it is one of the best ways to grow closer to our Father in Heaven. If you have any doubts, questions or concerns. Pray. He is there and he will answer I know this to be true. That is why I am a Mormon. I have prayed and received my answer that this is true. This did not just come from one prayer, one time of reading the Book of Mormon, or one test of faith. I knew this gospel and church to be true through countless prayers, daily studying of the scriptures, numerous trials of faith. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and it has helped answer questions in my everyday life. I am a Mormon because I know of all this to be true and I cannot deny it.

How I live my faith

I am a Mormon and I know it, I live it and I love it. I know my Savior lives because he has been my light and hope when times are tough but also when times are good. I live my faith by constantly seeking to be closer to my Heavenly Father and my Savior. I have learned that testimonies need to be constantly nourished and further developed. I have had the opportunity of serving in the presidency of young women's and in relief society. In these callings I have been able to serve others and bare my testimony. Callings are from God and meant for the individual. I know that to be true because by fulfilling my calling I learned to see others as God and the Savior see them, something I will always cherish.
