Hi I'm Megan

I grew up in Utah. I played college soccer. I like to spend my time with family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to watch and play sports and I go to college. I have been given the wonderful opportunity to play college soccer. I have 3 brothers. I enjoy hiking, boating, jet skiing, horseback riding, four wheeling, and playing games in my spare time. I also enjoy reading novels and I like to learn new things. My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family and friends regardless of what we are doing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for so many different reasons, but the bottom line is that it makes me happier than I have ever been. I have grown up in the church my whole life, but when I decided for myself to truly live the gospel is when I discovered myself. The gospel of Jesus Christ gives me hope and purpose in this sometimes hurtful, dark, and confusing life. Because of the Atonement of my Savior, Jesus Christ I can be made clean and pure when I make mistakes and I never need to feel alone because He has felt every pain, sorrow, temptation, shortcoming, heartbreak, and sin that I have every felt. As I come to Him, He can transform me into something I never thought I could be. I'm a Mormon because it is such a beautiful thing to know that I can be with my loved ones for eternity, not just for this mortal life. I'm a Mormon because I feel the love of my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ every day which is infinite and nothing can change it. Because I'm a Mormon, I never need to feel alone or like something is missing in my life. I am a Mormon because it brings me everlasting happiness.

How I live my faith

One of my favorite things about the LDS church is how committed everyone is and how there are so many opportunities to be involved. Growing up, I was able to hold callings of leadership for the other girls of my age where I was able to plan activities for us, make sure everyone was involved, and help any one who needed it. Some of my greatest friends came from this. I have also been able to participate in visiting teaching where me and another sister are able to go visit and share a message with other sisters. It's such a wonderful thing to get to know each other and share our experiences and testimonies of what we know to be true. Living my faith isn't just a one time thing, it's an every day, every hour, every minute thing. I try to live my life so that others know my beliefs just by the way I live.
