Hi I'm Logan

I have a Love for Hockey, but a deeper love for the Gospel. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a tight knit family with my Father, Mother and one younger sister. I was raised in the Church and what a blessing it was to know that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know me individually and love me. I moved out of my house when I was 15 years old to chase my dreams of receiving a Division 1 college scholarship to play hockey. When the time came of making those dreams a reality I rejected the offers to play in the NAHL. I made a different decision, I chose to serve my Lord and Savior for 2 years of my life. I am so thrilled to serve the People of Hawaii. Besides hockey I enjoy Camping, hiking, fishing, traveling, any sports, and spending time with friends and family. When I return from my mission I plan to go to college to become either a dentist or an orthodontist.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I didn't like leaning on others testimonies. I wanted to know the truth for myself. Just like the Prophet Joseph Smith did, I knelt in prayer and asked if the things I had been learning, studying, and pondering were true. All though it did not come right away after much effort, time, and faith it did come. I received an answer that was so personal and special to me I will never forget. Through the confirming power of the Holy Ghost I know for myself that Joseph Smith was called of God to Restore the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the earth through the power of the Priesthood. I know that he also translated the Book of Mormon, that book is true and testifies of Christ. I know that our modern day Prophets are called of God and act under the Priesthood and authority restored through Joseph Smith. I know if we hold on to the Prophets coat tail and heed their words they will lead us towards Christ. I know that Jesus died for us to give us a way to return back to our Father in Heaven. Through the Atonement we can become whole and pure as we repent. I am so thankful for this, as I am far from perfect, but I know that as I grow closer to God every day and do my best he will be merciful to me. I know heavenly Father has a plan for me and he gives me guidance through the Holy Ghost to seek out and understand his will for us. I know it’s not about where we were in the past so long as we repent and grow to be a better person today and tomorrow.

How I live my faith

I Live my faith by being a member missionary and sharing my time in service to help others and share my testimony. By being a faithful home teacher, as well as going on splits with the missionaries currently serving in my ward. I love finding things I can help out with, particularly for the elderly or handicapped.
