Hi I'm Taylor

I'm an inquisitive college student who loves dancing, mountain biking, and learning new things. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah studying the sciences and trying to decide on a major. While at the university, I have also participated in the Dance department as a member of one of the ballet teams. I have two wonderful parents, an older and a younger brother, and a younger sister who I love more than anything. I love being outdoors and engaging in activities such as mountain biking and hiking, especially in Utah's beautiful national parks. Also, I love rocking out to music and reading a good book.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I truly know in my heart that I have a Heavenly Father who lives and loves each of us, that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer, and that through the prophet Joseph Smith the fullness of the gospel was restored. In my hours of heartache and confusion, my knowledge of the gospel and my relationship with God has eased my pain and given me direction and hope. Though life has not been easy and gaining a testimony requires perseverance and faith, little by little my fortitude and conviction grows everyday as I place God first in my life. My greatest joys stem from the truths I hold so dear to my heart.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by adhering to and exhibiting my beliefs. Not only do I say them; I live them and that brings me joy. I attend church each Sunday and learn of the gospel as well as teach or speak when asked. In the past, I have helped others in the ward with family genealogy work and planned activities for the youth. Being a part of a church family where people support each other and work together to make remarkable things happen is exciting and meaningful. Currently, I am putting my formal university education on hold to serve a full-time LDS mission and teach others of Jesus Christ.
