Hi I'm Leilani Rousseau

I grew up in a little town called Tridell. I have lived there most of my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have 3 brothers and 8 sisters in my family. I enjoy playing basketball and some other sports like soccer, and volleyball. I also like spending time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole life. My parents have raised me to do the right thing. But there was a time in my life that I was having a hard time with what I believed in and if being a Mormon was the right thing for me to do. I was reading my scriptures as much as I could. I also talked to my sister who is like my best friend and she wrote me a note and told me that if I pray and ask that I will know if it is true. After I flipped open my scriptures and it came to Joshua 1:9 "Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee withersoever thou goest." When I read that I know I was doing the right thing and that if I had any questions that all I needed to do was to ask and I would get an answer. I am so grateful for the gospel and what I have learned from it and the happiness it brings to my life and to many others. I have read the Book of Mormon several times and from all those times of reading it I haved gained a stronger testimony of Christ and what the gospel is. I am so grateful for families and the love that my family shows to me and to everyone that they talk to. I love the gospel! Christ lives and loves each of his children. I know it to be true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the best I can. None of us are perfect but if we are all doing the best we can. I do not lower my standards for anyone or to do anything. I teach in the Primary and it has been a wonderful experience for me because I am not only teaching the kids that I am teaching but I am also teaching myself.
