Hi I'm Sarah

I love music, running and smiling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 4 children. I was born and raised in Utah, and have loved it! I spent a lot of my time growing up playing outside with my sisters and brother. In high school I became passionate about playing the trumpet and about competitive running on the school team. I am going to a University where I was in the marching band. I hope to figure out what I am studying soon. Currently, I am preparing to serve the Lord as a full-time missionary in California.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me incredibly happy. I have studied the teachings and put them to the test. Through study, prayer and faith I have found for myself that it is true. I know that these values, standards and commandments keep me safe and help me to be a good person. I am so grateful for them, and all of this gospel. I am so grateful for my family, and the knowledge that we can be together forever. Life is sometimes awfully hard, but I know the because of Jesus Christ and His Atonement, that we can be forgiven and be strengthened. If I look for His hand in my life, I am often amazed at how much He cares and knows us all, individually. I know that living the gospel will enable us to be full of happiness and love.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is my simply trying to be more like Christ everyday, to everybody. I really try to live the things that are taught and overall be a good person to all. I feel like smiling is a great way to go about life, and this goal. I have been apart of some organizations in the church that have asked me to teach my peers lessons about the gospel on Sundays. I have also tried to learn more about family history so I can help my ancestors, and learn from them. It is a wonderful feeling to study the scriptures and then apply them to my own life. It brings me joy! I also live my faith my volunteering my service for 18 months to serve the Lord in an effort to show people the joy of the gospel. I wouldn't go and leave my family and friends, if it wasn't true.
