Hi I'm Caleb Jones

I'm from a small town in the rural Midwest. I love to play the trumpet and am an aspiring politician. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Caleb Thomas Jones and I am from North Vernon, Indiana, USA. I live in a small town of a farming community and I love it! In my family are my two younger sisters Grace and Emma, my mother Amy, and my cute puppies Maddie and Trixie. My hobbies include working on computers, viewing and photographing nature, hanging out with my friends, and playing my trumpet. I am currently serving a mission in the Texas Houston South Mission where I am speaking Spanish and spreading the gospel. After my mission I plan to attend Purdue University to double major in Law & Society and Political Science.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the Spirit and the comfort I receive attending this church. I have attended many other churches and while they teach with a spirit present, I have never been as comfortable as I am in this church. The spirit has testified to me that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. I know that he and every prophet thereafter has been called to lead Christ's church on the Earth. And I know that my family will be together forever because of the blessings of the temple and the proper authority that exists there.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the things which the Lord has asked me to do. I attend Sunday meetings regularly, I follow the Word of Wisdom, I am giving up my personal life for 2 years as a missionary for the true church, and I am a worthy Melchizedek Priesthood holder. The blessings that I have received from following the commandments and keeping my covenants have been incredible.
