Hi I'm Jacob Doman

I grew up in Utah. Love to play sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have played football, basketball, and ran track. You could say I pretty much lived at the high school at that time. During high school (I just graduated) I had a fun time doing a lot of stuff from reading every first period in the library to staying till 6 working on my jumpshot. By the way I highly suggest reading "Unbroken" and "Screwtape Letters". I love working hard at something I love and loved the thrill of Friday night lights. But now that I'm graduated I am getting ready for my mission. I know all of that was fun but there are better things I can do!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I can have peace through trials and hardships. Which didn't make sense to me until I had to go through some hard trials, but once I did this church and the gospel has never meant more to me and my life. I also love the fact that I can be with my family forever. I truly believe that this church is the reason I am happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in every aspect of my life. I was a seminary council member for my school, so all the time I was serving and helping the very people I see at school. I just got released as first assistant to the bishop and that took up my religious set times of church and Tuesday nigh activities. I had an opportunity to help teach the 9 year old's at church for a month and I'm pretty sure I learned more from them than they did from me. I am very blessed to have lived and still live my faith in every aspect of my life. I can't imagine how I would be without it.
