Hi I'm Kaitlyn Guiver

I grew up in Utah, recently finished my freshman year of college, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been dancing since I was three years old and am currently studying Broadcast Journalism in school.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I grew up in the religion, but I'm practicing it because I've received personal confirmation and peace that it is the true church. It brings me knowledge of why I'm here on Earth, what's to be expected in the life to come, and has helped me discern what things bring true happiness in this world. I'm a Mormon because I've seen the miracles of the Priesthood in my life, the granted power to men from God, and because it enables me to be sealed to my family for eternity. I'm a Mormon because I learn to be more Christ-like in my interactions with others as well as in my personal decisions. "I'm a Mormon; I know it, I live it, I love it." -Sister Dalton

How I live my faith

I am currently serving an LDS mission and sharing the gospel with those in California in the Carlsbad mission!

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Kaitlyn Guiver
The purpose of this life is to receive a physical body and to exercise agency, the ability to choose between good and evil. Our goal is to prepare to return to live with our Heavenly Father, and to form family relationships that will last through eternity. God loves us and wants us back with Him, so He has prepared a way through the Savior Jesus Christ for us to repent of our mistakes and live in Heaven with Him again someday. Show more Show less
