Hi I'm Carolynn

I'm a dancer, musician, and missionary. Serving the people in the Boston, Massachusetts is my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Music is my passion. There is nothing that brings me more joy than creating music, listening to music, and dancing to it. In high school, I was was a part of the Extreme Ballroom Dance Company. I always knew that after high school I would no longer be on a dance team, but that will always be a part of my life. Through dance, piano lessons, YouTube ukulele lessons, and school choir, music encompassed my life. After one year of college, I decided to serve a mission. I came out to Boston Massachusetts to serve as a full time missionary for the Church. When I am home, I plan to return to college and see what my Father in Heaven has in store for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family of Mormons, but that did not mean that I have had a testimony of this Church my whole life. My little sister passed away when I was 16 years old. It rocked my world and my faith. I had to learn over the next 3 years what I really believed in. When it came down to it, I realized that what brings joy and hope in my life is the gospel of Jesus Christ. That is why I am a missionary for the church. I want every person that I come in contact with to be able to experience the light and freedom that comes from Christ.

How I live my faith

My faith is intertwined with my day to day life. As a missionary, we teach others about how to come closer to Jesus Christ everyday. We study the scriptures, pray, and follow the promptings of the Holy Ghost. This is not just a missionary life style, but these habits will follow me for the rest of my life. I can see my God in the beautiful world around us. I can feel the peace that comes from Christ's Atonement at any moment during the day, as long as I am in tune with the Spirit. There is no separation in normal life and my faith.
