Hi I'm Jordan

I grew up in the United States in Washington, I was born and raised in the church, I like sports, music, people, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I like to play sports and go on adventures to new places and experience new things. I love cars and working on them and learning about old cars and new cars. I don't like watching T.V. very much, i believe it is a waste of time and mind power. I try to stay healthy and eat right. I like dogs. I like learning and understanding what the great minds have thought and discovered and i would hope to learn and discover for myself. I like to live my life on a experience all that you can agenda, and trying to grasp every opportunity that i can. By small and simple things do great things come to pass.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because i chose to be when i was in High School. Although i grew up Mormon i hated going to church. I wasn't happy about all the things i had to obey and having to go to church each Sunday. But as i got older and started observing life and the things that were happening around me on a day to day basis at school and with friends i started to see how the gospel blesses people. I gained a desire to have a family when i grew up and i knew the happiest family would be one in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I learned about the atonement and as with everyone in this world i struggled with sin and when i decided that the Lord's work was more important than my well-being and comfortableness i decided that i was going to trust the Lord and always be honest in my doings. I took the atonement that He has so lovingly given to us that we can be forgiven of our sins and gain the empowering strength to overcome and become strong sons and daughters of God. I know what it feels like to be accompanied by the spirit and how it feels when there is love at home and with friends. Those feelings are the feelings that we are doing what's right before God. I need to know how to become the man i want to be and the gospel will get me there.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by seeking personal understanding as much as possible. When you are young it is easy to go along with what your parents and church leaders say. But seeking that personal revelation and understanding is how i live my faith and how everyone lives it really. I try to always do what is right. I think about what i'm doing and consider how it would effect my worthiness or how it might cause me to falter in my faith. I trust in the Lord and His commandments and the many promises that He gives in the scriptures about obeying his commandments. I try to set an example and try my best to make others happy. The most important thing to know that will change perspective and understanding is to grasp the fact that this life is not about you, its about the things you do to bless other people.
