Hi I'm Jessa Smith

I grew up in Utah. I love to dance. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with three brothers. My parents got divorced when I was 9 years old. They both got remarried fairly fast, and now I have 8 step brothers and sisters. My mother and step father adopted a little girl who is quarter Japanese. I was attending Weber State University, and I was on their dance team. I have danced for 15 years now, and I absolutely love it. I am currently preparing myself to go preach the gospel to those in Nagoya, Japan. I never thought I would be serving a mission, but I know that it's exactly what I am suppose to do because God has a plan for all of us. It may not be the course that we want to take, but it will bless our lives forever.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have never felt more peace, comfort, and love when I am living the teachings of the gospel. This gospel has blessed my life in more ways than I can count. It has brought my life so much happiness. I love knowing that no matter what mistakes I make in this life, I can be forgiven. I love knowing that I will ALWAYS have someone to rely on through not only my downs, but also my ups. I love knowing that I have a savior who loves me, and gave his life for me, and atoned for all of my sins that I have made, or will make. And that he will love me unconditionally. But most importantly, I love knowing that families can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading my scriptures every morning and night, along with prayer. I also am living my faith by serving a mission. I am going to Japan to teach people about this gospel.
