Hi I'm Amelia

I am from Utah. I am a college student and a missionary. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I originally grew up in Utah before moving to Nevada, but I'm happy to be back and attending college. While being here, I've found a love for dance. I also enjoy reading and writing, as well as just about anything outside. Currently, I'm working towards a degree in Radiography, but before I enter the program I'll be taking some time off to serve a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, but as I've grown up I've come to learn for myself the truth of this gospel. I've always believed it to be true and through much faith and prayer, Heavenly Father has truly blessed me line upon line with a confirmation so that I can say that I know it is true. Living these principles had brought me so much joy and I honestly don't know where I would be without this gospel. I can't wait to share it with others so that they can experience this same joy and come to know our Savior and feel His love. I know that our Heavenly Father knows loves each one of us. He does hear our prayers, and will answer them in the way that is best for us. I have a testimony that Joseph Smith was called of God to restore the only true church. Through him, the Book of Mormon was translated and I know it's teachings are true. The people it talks about really lived and we can learn from their faith and experiences. I absolutely love my Savior, and I am so grateful for all that He did for me. I know that through Him we can receive forgiveness and joy. Because of His sacrifice, we can be clean and live with Him again.

How I live my faith

I have always tried to live my life in a way so that through me, others can come to know Christ. It's my hope that my actions will reflect my love for Him, so I always try to live the standards taught in For the Strength of Youth and find ways to serve. So far, I have served in various calling such as Laurel President, and a teacher in Relief Society. I try to live my faith by making it a habit to read my scriptures, pray, and attend my church meetings, and do so with a sincere heart and a real desire to learn. Now, I'm absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to serve as missionary for my Heavenly Father and teach His children.
