Hi I'm Elisabeth

I love to think. I love to laugh. I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student about to go on a mission. My family and I are huge into backpacking, and we've been all over the western United States on backpacking trips, hitting cool sites such as the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and the Tetons. I also like basketball and have played for many years. I like to do family history and hang out with my friends and siblings.

Why I am a Mormon

More than anything, I have come to know that God loves me. It is this that I know, even as the world indulges in wild beliefs that God doesn't exist. I know He exists whether or not we choose to believe He does, and because He loves us, He sent His Son Jesus Christ to the earth. Jesus Christ took upon Himself our sins and our sorrows so that He could understand and forgive us because He loves us. This means the world to me, and I know that with His help, I can do anything He asks of me.

How I live my faith

Over the two past semesters I was an active visiting teacher, which means visiting one or two assigned girls from my ward once a month. I was grateful to get to know the girls I visit taught, and it was a great opportunity to be exposed to more people than just my normal friend group. I also worked with ward leaders to plan activities for the girls in my ward. It was great to serve, and now I will be able to serve more on my mission.
