Hi I'm Ashley

I love life. I'm an avid dreamer, dancer, and sometimes traveler. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up as a Mormon in Utah. I enjoy dancing, reading, sports, skiing and other outdoor activities. I love spending time with my family. I attend Brigham Young University. I am a "people" person and love serving others. I will serve a mission in the Puerto Rico San Juan Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As most children do, I relied on my parents' and siblings' testimonies at first, but as I grew I learned for myself the truthfulness of the gospel. I am a Mormon because I have prayed to know for myself if the church is true and I have received confirmation from the Holy Ghost that it is true. Because of this I know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and all of His children. I know that He has a plan for me and has provided a way for me to return to Him. I have a family that I love and I know that I will be able to be with them forever. Because God loves us so much He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to come to this earth and atone for the sins of all mankind. Christ bore my pains and afflictions so He could succor me. I am so grateful for this knowledge and how I can repent and never be left alone. I am a Mormon because of the peace, happiness, and joy it brings me. We were created to have joy and I have found no surer way to such exquisite joy as in living the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in my daily actions. Although I am far from perfect I know that giving anything less than my best is not acceptable. I try to serve my ward and community in any way I can. Usually I give my time. I attend the temple frequently which is one of my favorite places to be. I enjoy talking to people and getting to know them so I can show love and service to them.
