Hi I'm Kenedi

I grew up in Utah. I recently graduated from high school and have completed part of my bachelor degree. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up I had a passion for sports. I found a great love for soccer while I was young and in high school I fell in love with tennis. I'm happy to say I'm in a loving family of five that includes my parents, two younger brothers, and me. Due to complications at birth my youngest brother has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. He is my hero.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up as a Mormon has been the biggest blessing in my life. There's always a loving calmness that surrounds difficult situations. This has testified to me that the way I am living is correct. The first experience I had with this was when my brother was born. Being a bystander, first few days were hard as he and my mom struggled to stay alive. The odds were not in their favor and the fact that both of them came out alive was a next to impossible miracle. I know that only with the power of prayer and the priesthood that they came out alive. Everyday I see my brother, he reminds me of this. As I have studied and pondered the words of prophets of old and the LDS latter-day prophets, I have come to know that what they say is true. I love that I can kneel to pray directly to my Heavenly Father to seek comfort, guidance, and counsel in my life. I love the gospel and this is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love the gospel. This past year I've had the opportunity to be a part of the college ward. I've loved being surrounded by people my age that live by the same standards as me. Being a part of this has helped me be the person I want to be. I have been called to serve as a full time sister missionary for the next 18 months. I am so grateful for this opportunity.
