Hi I'm Nathan

I've grown up in Idaho. I've been a member all my life, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play soccer, tennis, and basketball. I love to read and spend time with my friends. I've spent time learning to play the ukulele, harmonica, saxophone, piano, and violin. I'm not great at any of these instruments, but I love music. I will be serving a mission, after which I will be going to college. I've traveled around the world, visiting places such as England, Germany, and Morocco. I love to learn about people and their cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I'm happier when I follow the Lord. When I do what He asks me to do through the leaders of his church, I am a happier person, and I enjoy life more. I know that He speaks through his prophets, and that their guidance is the best way to become closer to Jesus Christ. I know that when I ask Him for forgiveness, I receive it, and I know that I can feel peace because of it. As I do what the Lord asks, I want to be a better person so that I may serve him better.

How I live my faith

I am currently the secretary for a group of young men ages 16-18. I help to plan activities and church lessons, and I make the agendas for all of the meetings that our presidency has. I've served several callings like this for young men ages 12-18.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Missions are considered a duty for young men ages 18 to 19. However, it is their choice, they aren't required. For young women age 19 to 21, it is entirely their choice. If they feel that it is right for them, they can go. Show more Show less
