Hi I'm Taylor Porter

I'm from Victor Idaho. I used to competitively nordic ski. I study Civil Engineering at BYU Provo. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am serving a mission right now for the LDS church. I love the snow and anything else outdoors, especially if there is an activity involved. I completed my freshman year at BYU Provo and will continue to study Civil Engineering there once I complete my mission. If there is something to climb without getting in trouble, you'll find me at the top.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I've felt that the gospel is true. I have felt the love of God and the reality of Christ's atonement and I gained my testimony in part from reading the Book of Mormon. I know that the LDS church is the true church and all of the revelation received comes straight from Heavenly Father. If ever someone would want to understand why I believe what the church believes, read the book of third Nephi in the Book of Mormon and pray. The messages given by Christ in that book are what gave me the beginning of my testimony.

How I live my faith

Right now I'm serving a full time mission for the church. Basically I'm teaching the gospel that we, the LDS people, believe in. I also do service whenever I can. This takes two years and I immerse myself in my mission completely, including following more strict rules than the rest of the church and going to whatever place I'm called (Tempe Arizona Mission).
