Hi I'm Austin

I am a full-time student from Tennessee. I play snare in my university's drumline. I love to sing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised by very religious parents who taught me to love Jesus Christ with all my heart. When I found the LDS church, I was very curious about what they taught and what the Book of Mormon taught. I requested a free copy and began meeting with the missionaries! They taught me of God's love for all mankind and the essential doctrine of Christ's atonement. After finishing the Book of Mormon and feeling its truth wash over me, I requested to be baptized as soon as possible! I have been given a clean slate and I now have an amazing testimony of Christ's selfless and matchless love.

Why I am a Mormon

The restored gospel of Jesus Christ is one that blesses and unites families and individuals. When I follow the commandments, my faith is increased and I come to appreciate His atonement more and more. I have been given a new start because my life has been paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ. The gospel gives me much reason to rejoice because I know that I'll be able to live with Jesus Christ, Heavenly Father, and all of my loved ones after I die.

How I live my faith

After only seven months in the Church, I was extended the call to be a Sunday school teacher. I accepted the call and began to teach the young adults of my congregation about Jesus Christ's simple truths of the gospel. I have participated in many local community projects involving housing and feeding the impoverished. Christ taught all of us to love one another, and the least I could do is reach out to all of God's children who aren't as fortunate as I am to have food and shelter.
