Hi I'm Shea Harms

I'm from Arizona. I'm a big sister, daughter, friend, psychologist in the making, world traveler, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like making and eating food, looking for treasures at thrift stores, anything that has to do with music, reading (especially Jane Austen; I'm a sucker for a good British satire), and learning about/ trying anything and everything that I can. I'm currently going to university for psychology and criminal justice. I've got a list full of dreams and goals that I'm working on accomplishing-- I'm presently in the process of checking off "live in and explore Europe".

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that through Joseph Smith we now once again have the full, restored gospel on the Earth. I am Mormon because I have asked my Heavenly Father with a real desire to know the truth, and I received an answer with peace and comfort and happiness in my soul-- it is true. I am Mormon because it is how I can become as close to my Father in Heaven as possible. Ultimately I am Mormon because it makes me happy, and everyone wants to be happy, right?

How I live my faith

After my family joined this church when I was a little girl, I have spent my life trying to become like my Savior, and make my Heavenly Father proud of who I am. I became very sick a few years ago and found out I would never be able to serve a full-time mission. However, I didn't realize how just by living my life in the best way I can and reaching out to others the impact it would have! I am able to teach about Jesus Christ and share my beliefs with so many people around me, whether they're friends, colleagues, classmates, or random strangers I meet in a train, etc.
