Hi I'm Scott

I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm into basketball, reading, and writing. I'm huge into cars, music, mountain biking, four-wheeling, and camping. Some of the things I like to do include playing sports, hanging out with friends, and spending time with family. I love to stay active, and I love to have fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church. However, I am a Mormon because I have come to a knowledge that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. Through personal experiences in my life, I have gained my own testimony of the Gospel. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are real, and I have felt Their love for me. This Gospel has brought me peace and hope that I know I can't find anywhere else, and I know that one day, as long as I am faithful, I can return to live with my Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, and with my family for eternity.

How I live my faith

Daily scripture study and prayer are both a huge part of the way that I live my faith. Doing both of these things everyday really helps me keep my testimony strong, and helps me learn more about the Gospel. I go to Church every week, and stay active in Church sponsored activities, service projects, and programs. Recently, I advanced from the youth program. When I was in the youth program, however, I was called to serve in various youth leadership positions. I try to find ways to serve others, and always try to set a good example. I am currently preparing to serve a 2 year mission as well.
