Hi I'm Jordan

I'm a jazz and rock musician. I ride motorcycles daily. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have pursued music throughout junior high and high school. I've played in school groups and private groups alike with friends and strangers. It's one of my favorite pass times and I feel helped develop my social skills with the friends I made there. I ride motorcycles on a nearly daily basis by myself and family and friends. It's a big part of my life as well. I hope to be able to pursue a bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Forensic Sciences and become a criminal profiler and federal agent in the FBI.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born into the Church. And I came to a point in my life when I had to figure out for myself if I really, truly believed or not. I realized that this Church and the gospel is exactly what I need in this life.

How I live my faith

I lived my faith by pursuing the goal of coming closer to Christ in my daily life. I show my faith by choosing to serve a mission in Phoenix Arizona.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

The Atonement of Jesus Christ is when the Savior of us all, Jesus Christ, took upon himself the sins and pains of everyone that had been, and would be, on the Earth. The Savior performed this act only because he is the biological son of our Father in Heaven. Jesus experienced agony unimaginable by any of us. He felt everyone's pain. He took it upon himself, because of His eternal love for us. Everyone on this Earth can use this Atonement that he provided for us to return to our Father's repentance. It truly is a beautiful thing. What is faith?

Faith is a "hope for things which are not seen, which are true". It's not knowledge. While it is true that none of us will probably have a "knowledge" of the gospel, faith is something just as good. Having faith not only is having the trust that there is someone out there listening to your prayers, it's showing your commitment that you have to the Lord by putting your trust into him. Faith is something that is always growing, developing and improving; as long as we're working towards it. And the more faith that you have in God and in your relationship with him, the more you see His hand in your life. Show more Show less
