Hi I'm Brenton Rogers

I was born and raised in Queensland, Australia. I've fled from battle more than 50 times in pokemon because I can and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am old enough to drive a car. I have brown hair and a pair of eyes. I can do 10 push-ups in 10 seconds. I'm into basketball. I play the violin and piano. I'm not afraid to cry. I've memorised "A Walk To Remember" I can do a handstand for 17 and a half seconds (record) I made nationals for shot-put. I've completed tough mudder 6 times.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and felt that it was true. I feel of Heavenly Father's love for me and of my Savior, Jesus Christ's love. I know that this is the restored church upon the earth. I am grateful for the peace and happiness that I have felt in my life because of this knowledge.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week. I go out with missionaries often. I live what I learn and teach. I am an 100% home teacher. I am an example of the believers.

What is being a Mormon like?

Brenton Rogers
Being a Mormon isn't quite so different from "normal" living. Unlike so many who don't know who they are, why they are here and where they are going, I do. I am the son of a living God who loves me and loves you so, that he sent his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to atone for our sins. I am here to prove that I can learn and grow as an imperfect being in an imperfect world full of temptation and wickedness. That I can put the "natural man" aside (Mosiah 3:19) and be in touch with my God. I know where I am going. How I live this life, this beautiful gift that we have been given by our Heavenly Father, will determine where I go. Most people think that the church limits the things we can do. Most people think that the church tell us what we can and can't do. The church points us in the right direction and it is up to us. We have been given the gift of agency. We are here to exercise our agency in difficult circumstances. The Lord wants to see what we are made of so to speak. You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make him drink. Being a Mormon is the BEST thing in my life so far. I am currently serving as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Angeles Philippians mission. I have never been happier. Show more Show less
